SPRACHSPIEL are specialists since 2005 in surtitles, interpreting and experimental forms of translation for stage plays.

Yvonne Griesel is a trained interpreter and drama translator. She was involved in translation training for many years at the Humboldt University in Berlin. In several books, she contributed to the theme of translation in theatre before she began to concentrate entirely on her artistic career. She has worked for renowned theatres and festivals for several years, including the Ruhrtriennale, Schaubühne Berlin, Gorki Theater, and Theater der Welt.
